Mum with ambition progresses onto her next steps in her career journey
The first day of school is an emotional time for any mother, but for Heather, it’s also an opportunity to fulfil her career aspirations in the Health and Social Care sector. Opportunities for Health and Social Care careers have grown and helped individuals achieve new paths. This is why we are excited to share Heather’s experience.
Heather discovered the options available to her with Complete Skills Solutions. She decided to take full advantage of their funded courses. She successfully completed her Level 1 Health and Social Care and is progressed to the Level 2 qualification. This will allow Heather to increase her chances of employment once her children are in full-time education.

Taking it a step further
On completion of her course, Mark, her tutor, supported Heather and presented her with options for her next steps. Heather could choose to progress on to further education and training. Alternatively, she could choose whether she wanted support looking for entry-level employment. As the Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification was due to start, Heather couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enrol. She continued to work towards a higher qualification to help her career journey and boost her knowledge. In fact, Heather was one of 3 learners who also progressed from the level 1 to level 2 course for further development.
