Proud to work in partnership with community groups

We believe that relationships and partnerships are key to driving social change, and fundamentally, that’s what we are all about. We are committed to changing the lives of the individuals we support through sector-led training, and to help us to help more people, we tap into our extensive partnership network.

Born and bred in the Liverpool City Region, but with an ever increasing network of partners nationally, by working with community groups, we keep our ear to the ground as to the need of individuals and the challenges they face, and then we use this knowledge to develop training courses that not only tick the vocational boxes, but also offer the wrap around personal skills and knowledge that could be lacking.

How does it work?

We take a collaborative approach to working with community groups and charities and find that everyone wants to work with us in a slightly different way.

Option one: You refer customers to our existing provision

If you have some customers who meet our eligibility criteria and are interested in completing one of our fully funded courses, then you can either contact us to refer them to the course or ask them to complete one of our online course forms.

Option two: We can develop a personalised training solution

If you have a large cohort of customers, all requiring some specific skills and training which fall outside of our core curriculum, we’re happy to work with you to build a bespoke training solution (subject to funding and availability).

Community Shop

More than just training…

We are proud to work alongside the Community Shop to deliver some courses in partnership with them. But our partnership also means that every person who studies a course with us, also gets membership to the Community Shop, giving you access to:.

Up to 70% off the RRP of groceries by shopping in a Community Shop

Fresh fruit and veg from 20p

Access to essential Community Hub training and development opportunities

Tasty and affordable meals, as well as family cooking courses via their Community Kitchen

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones, powered by Complete Skills Solutions, is a free* supportive programme made up of 6 different pathways. Each pathway is built to support everyday people to boost their health, wellbeing, and personal skills. (*eligibility criteria applies)

We believe that small steps can lead to great things and that’s what we have built our approach on. Each pathway has a specific focus, and individuals just like you can choose to sign-up to as many as you want, depending on your individual circumstances.

We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get involved, so we even offer grants to help pay for the likes of travel costs or childcare whilst attending our programme (subject to eligibility and availability). And because we’re all about health and wellbeing, whilst completing Stepping Stones, we’ll also give our participants free Community Shop membership, meaning discounted groceries and hot meals in their café.

Making a difference to people’s lives
