Leading adult training and education provider, Complete Skills Solutions have maintained its Matrix Quality Standard accreditation for information, advice, and guidance services.
In 2021, Complete Skills Solutions (CSS) were awarded the Quality Standard for the first time. Since then, the provider has made significant improvements to information, advice, and guidance (IAG) services.
During the assessment process, the assessor noted how impressed they were with the improvements, including the creation a full-time IAG role.
The new IAG role enables CSS to deliver a more personalised training experience, helping to improve learner engagement and ultimately support individuals to progress into sustainable employment.
The assessor also noted CSS’s recent Ofsted inspection, where the organisation achieved a ‘Good’ rating. Other comments included how CSS celebrate positive destination success on social media and the investments made to enable more team members to complete their IAG Level 2 qualification.
Matrix Assessor, David Crosby said: “During the last year, Complete Skills Solutions have trained a further six staff to Level 2 IAG. The training has further professionalised the IAG delivery to all learners.”
Information, advice, and guidance are a fundamental part of every stage of the CSS learner journey, beginning with a pre-enrolment intervention from the Business Development Team. The team work closely with learners to identify their individual career goals, existing skills and abilities, and strengths and weaknesses.
Throughout delivery, the CSS team prepare learners for roles in their chosen industry, whilst providing ongoing support in applying for jobs and preparing for interviews. Learners are supported to identify future progression pathways available to them.
