Short courses that
can have big outcomes

The Community Shop has teamed up with Complete Skills Solutions to offer you a range of fantastic, fully-funded courses as part of The Progress Academy! These short courses will enable you to gain new skills, meet new people, and work towards new qualifications.

New skills, qualifications, job, and training opportunities

The Community Shop has partnered with Complete Skills Solutions to offer you a series of new short courses via our Progress Academy. Each course is designed to help boost your confidence, skills, and knowledge, as well as give you new qualifications! All of the courses under The Progress Academy complement the existing Community Shop provision, and they are designed around you and what you tell us you need the most.

Each of these courses are available to Community Shop members (subject to eligibility, see further down this page). They are also available to those who do not currently have Community Shop membership, as you will have the opportunity to apply for membership as part of this training.

They will take place across our Kirkdale, Halton and Beechwood sites on a regular basis.

The courses are free to you as they are funded by the Government, but they are subject to eligibility (see later on this page).
