Our stewarding course equips you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to enter and succeed in the spectator safety and hospitality sectors.

With a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events under your belt, you’ll be ready to take on your first stewarding role. We’ll even connect you with local vacancies and trusted employers looking for people with your newfound talents, such as Everton F.C.

  • Know How to Help to Manage and Resolve Conflicts
  • Know How to Deal With Incidents at Spectator Events
  • Know How to Support the Work of Your Team and Organisation
  • Equality and Diversity in Everyday Life

Upon your successful completion of this course, you’ll receive a NCFE Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events, plus a Level 1 Award in Equality and Diversity in Everyday Life awarded by ETCAL.

You’ll be offered a job interview in a hospitality position that fits your new stewarding skills, such as Matchday Steward in a football stadium.

  • Aged 19+
  • Must be a resident of the Liverpool City Region
  • If unemployed must be in receipt of state benefits (UC/JSA/ESA/Income Support)
  • If employed must be earning less than £33,958.60
