About Us
We are champions
of social mobility.

Here at Complete Skills Solutions (or CSS to our friends), we’re passionate about empowering people to better themselves. Our diverse training offer is built on industry demand, meaning we give our learners the skills, knowledge and qualifications that employers need! We are proud of the life-changing impacts that our training has on people and the communities where we work.
Skills Bootcamps
Our Skills Bootcamps are designed to supercharge someone’s sector-specific skills and knowledge with the aim of getting them into work.
Short Courses
Our short courses, funded via the Adult Skills Fund, offer industry led training courses delivered face-to-face or virtually. These courses are flexed to meet local demand and often have guaranteed job interviews at the end.
Apprenticeships
Our apprenticeship offer is built around helping young people get into employment with training, as well as supporting individuals to develop themselves. Led by the employer, apprenticeships offer a great way to train new and retain existing staff.
Prison Education
Our extensive prison education programme delivers skill-specific training and employability skills within multiple prisons. Whether helping an inmate gain new skills and knowledge to help give them the best prospects after being released, or positively engaging with an inmate during their term, our prison programme is vast and tailored to the needs of each setting.
Our impact and outcomes
To understand the full extent of our impacts, both individually and as part of The Progress Group, we commission The Connectives to provide an independent assessment and enumeration of the social value generated by our Group and individual businesses. Our latest set of Social Accounts are for the period April 2022 – July 2024. During this time, our sector faced funding constraints and a demand-supply in-balance within the labour market. Despite this, our training still supported more than 5,000 individuals across each of our training streams.
Our education and training offer drives immediate cost savings to the public purse, which will also translate into long-term gains with those individuals becoming more socially and economically prosperous. We are passionate about driving social mobility to help our learners get a job or a better one. With much of our training being delivered in community locations, we offer an accessible training solution which is designed to change lives.
