A skills bootcamp is a brilliant way to plug a specific skills gap within your business. They offer flexible and hands-on learning to individuals, with the aim of getting them upskilled and job ready within a matter of weeks! Courses can last up to 16 weeks, but we quite often deliver these over a shorter, more intense period to help fast track people into work and plug your skills shortages quickly.

Funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority via the Department for Education, Skills Bootcamps are part of the government’s commitment to creating Skills for Life.

The role of the employer in crafting a bootcamp

Employers are key when crafting a skills bootcamp, because they are designed to fill a skills shortage/gap using local talent. As such, we encourage the employers we work with to work with us to design and develop a bespoke bootcamp that will fit your skills need. You can even use them to upskill existing colleagues to help give your business a boost!

Business boosting skills bootcamps

A bootcamp can last up to 16 weeks but we normally deliver these over a shorter, more intense time period.

To date, we have offered bootcamps in Construction and Green Skills.

If someone is aged 19+, in work, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work after a break, and looking to quickly increase their skills in a specific area, then a bootcamp could be a great option.
