Free construction training in Liverpool

If you are looking to lay the foundations for a career in construction, look no further. This free course, with a guaranteed job interview with Ionic / Visty / Quinn at the end, will equip you with the entry level knowledge, skills, and qualifications you need to get started in the Liverpool construction industry. The mix of practical and classroom learning really hammers home your new skills. And what’s more, with the CITB health and safety course content embedded throughout, you will be fully prepped, ready for your CSCS test at the end of the course.

Throughout this course, you will develop the basic Skills and knowledge in bricklaying in our real-world training environment.  There is also a qualification in recycling and waste management included in this training, equipping learners with the skills and knowledge required to assess occupational competence in various areas of the waste management industry, including waste collection, weighbridge and site operatives, and supervisory roles.

So, if you’re looking for a course to get you into construction with a focus on bricklaying, trowels at the ready!

During this course, you will work towards three qualifications. These are:

  • Level 1 Award in Building and Construction Bricklaying
  • Level 1 Award in Recycling and Waste Management
  • Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in Construction Environment

In addition to working towards your level 1 qualifications, you will also have a guaranteed interview with Ionic / Visty / Quinn.

We will provide you with a voucher so you can arrange your CSCS card test with Pearsons, and as long as you pass, you will be issued with your card to be able to start working on sites.

Once you have successfully completed your course, we will arrange for you to have an interview with you Ionic / Visty / Quinn for one of their live roles.

Are you eligible?

  • Aged 19+
  • Must be a resident of the Liverpool City Region
  • If unemployed must be in receipt of state benefits (UC/JSA/ESA/Income Support)
  • If employed must be in receipt of low wages (lower than £33,958.60 and able to evidence this)
  • Must not have any previous construction qualifications
