Liverpool-based training provider, Complete Skills Solutions, is expanding its apprenticeship offer to include two brand-new Level 3 programmes. These will sit alongside their relaunched Teaching Assistant Level 3 apprenticeship, which will have a specialist focus on SEND and alternative provision moving forwards. All courses are open for enrolment now, with September starts available.

The Level 3 Safeguarding Support Officer Apprenticeship is suitable for professionals working in roles such as a Safeguarding Support Officer, Early Help Practitioner or Safeguarding Assistant and will equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to support statutory safeguarding responsibilities effectively.

The Level 3 Community Health & Wellbeing Worker is designed to empower individuals to support and improve the health and wellbeing in their local communities by providing learners with the skills to identify and address health needs, promote healthier lifestyles, and reduce inequalities.

In addition to these new offerings, Complete Skills Solutions is relaunching its Teaching Assistant Level 3 apprenticeship with an enhanced focus on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Alternative Provision (AP). This comprehensive programme is tailored for Teaching Assistants working in specialist schools who want to deepen their understanding and skills in supporting students with diverse needs. The course includes bespoke training modules and workshops designed to prepare apprentices for the challenges of SEND education, helping create inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Chief Operating Officer, Fay Gibbin, commented:

“Each of these apprenticeship programmes have a shared purpose to positively impact on communities and help people achieve their potential, no matter their age or ability. That is something that we are already championing through our Adult Skills Training, which is built around providing people with the entry level knowledge, skills and qualifications that employers want and need.

“Our enhanced apprenticeship offer is the next step in us responding to local and national skills and priorities, where we know that the demand for highly trained professionals who can support young and older people with complex needs is increasing. We want to empower our apprentices to change other people’s lives and leave a lasting positive mark on their local community.”

Prospective apprentices and employers are encouraged to enrol now for September starts to take advantage of these exciting new opportunities to develop vital skills in safeguarding, community health, and education support.
