“It’s a Family Thing” is the motto of Alice Charity, a leading charitable organisation who were founded in 2011 to support vulnerable and disadvantaged families across Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Their motto, and holistic approach to supporting vulnerable people are perfectly aligned with the values and core purpose of Complete Skills Solution (CSS), so a partnership seemed a perfect fit.
CSS, who will offer skills-based training courses for those looking to get into work or climb the career ladder, will deliver a range of fully funded courses for Alice customers across health and social care, early years, and digital contact centre. Each of the courses will equip learners with the knowledge, skills and qualifications employers look for. Vitally, at the end of the course, learners will also be supported to secure employment or progress onto further training wherever possible.
The partnership, which will officially get underway next month is the latest in a series of strategic partnerships being formed by CSS, which will see them extend their provision and reach beyond the Liverpool City Region in order to support more individuals to become socially and economically active, something that the training provider is passionate with over £3.5 million in social value generated by the organisation between 2021-2022.

Between August 2021 – July 2022, the provider supported 858 individuals to access fully funded training.
