Complete Skills Solutions have launched a new ‘Intro to Green Energy’ course which aims to provide learners with an insight into the renewables industry and the opportunity to explore different career options within the field. The CSS team are working with the Job Centre Plus to deliver this course to interested participants in the North West area.
This short, fully funded, two-day course is led by Complete Training Solution’s renewable industry training specialists and will provide trainees with both theoretical knowledge and practical first-hand experience. Intended as an introduction to the renewable workforce, this is an ideal first step before enrolling on one of our extensive, industry renowned courses.
The course delves into a number of areas that will enrich your knowledge, skills and behaviours, with day one-of the training taking place at Collingwood Dock in Liverpool. Trainees will have the opportunity to learn about the green energy sector and the jobs available within the field, first aid and fire safety training and practical marine activities such as fire extinguisher training and smoke room escape training.
Day two of the course takes place at the Workforce Development HQ at Brunswick Business Park, covering an introduction to the qualifications available, alternative job roles and employability advice, risk assessment planning and working at heights practice.
