Adult Education training provider Complete Skills Solutions, formerly known as Innovative Alliance, have become one of two beneficiaries to receive laptops from The Andy Reid Standing Tall Foundation. In an effort to close the digital divide and provide vital resources and help for job seekers. This donation assists individuals to undertake training and better their chances of finding employment.
The Andy Reid Standing Tall Foundation aims to help tackle social issues such as homelessness, debt management, relationships and mental health. Through his associations, Andy realised there are many different deserving organisations of support. His focus was to target those that are in need of direct and practical support. So he made the decision to use the foundation to support organisations, such as training providers and recruitment companies. Two of the many sectors that help those faced with disadvantages.
A partnership between the two grew through the desire to help people. Additionally, the two organisations are working together to provide resources to support better life opportunities.
Inspired to donate and provide help for job seekers in the UK
The Foundation recently received several laptops from Cash Converters UK. Subsequently, they were inspired to donate these to Complete Skills Solutions. Complete Skills Solutions are supporting learners to study online.
Standing Tall Foundation CEO, John Tabern said;

Currently, 82% of all job openings online require at least basic digital skills. This skills shortage limits the opportunities for those people seeking employment. In March 2020, Complete Skills Solutions joined several businesses and organisations, in signing the Armed Forces Covenant. This demonstrates their commitment to supporting those who have or are currently serving in the Armed Forces. Above all, the Covenant is a true sign of support to veterans and their families.
