Leading Adult Education and Training Provider, Complete Skills Solutions (CSS), recently launched a partnership with Bullen Healthcare to deliver a free 10-day healthcare course. The course also came with a guaranteed interview with Bullen upon completion.
Bullen Healthcare was established in 1858 and is a fourth-generation, family-run organisation dedicated to the provision of Stoma, Urology and Advanced Wound Care products. They provide a bespoke home delivery service for customers, supplying an extensive array of Stoma products listed within the NHS Drug Tariff.
Earlier this year, the team at Bullen were on the lookout for Personal Customer Care Advisers to join its growing team. To help them identify recruits with the personal attributes and skills they needed, they enlisted the help of CSS.
Complete Skills Solutions has a wealth of experience in providing sector-specific employer recruitment solutions. They work closely with businesses to understand their workforce needs and establish a training course that will equip eligible learners with the skills, tools, and knowledge to bolster their workforce.
The first cohort of learners to go through the training with CSS saw an- impressive 50% success rate. Bullen were so impressed with the calibre of candidates, they decided to continue their partnership with CSS.
Ryan Turner was one of the learners who completed the first course and secured employment with Bullen Healthcare. Before Ryan started the course, he lacked confidence and was withdrawn but has since flourished into a confident and assertive individual.

Across the Liverpool City Region (LCR), CSS is working closely with individuals, employers, and local partners to provide valuable education and training opportunities to LCR residents.
Every week, they are providing fully-funded training courses in the likes of warehousing and logistics, customer service and healthcare. All their courses have employability skills embedded to support individuals to gain the transferable skills needed to excel in the workplace.
